Ah...nothing like a crisp new magazine to sit down with.
And Scrapbook and Cards Today--the Canadian scrapbook magazine--is one of the crispest. This month's cover is so, so pretty. Nice and pink and bright...
See?
I can't wait to read it. If you want to take a peek, you can download it for FREE here.
I used to have it to give away but shipping costs are too much and I just can't warrant it. However, you can subscribe for a nominal fee...just to cover shipping.
Here's another mini book I made...this one is also in the Algoma Manor Silent Auction going on now at Northern Credit Union. It's a cute little tag recipe book so be sure to head on in and bid on it if you're looking for a unique little recipe book. The tags in the envelopes have recipe cards on them--you'll have to write out your own recipes!
Here's the cover...
Here's a look at it from the top.... ...and a closeup look...
Here's a little look at the inside...
You can see more of the envelope pages here...
And finally, here are the tags with the recipe cards on them!
Recipe books are such a great thing to scrapbook. You can make your own recipe book exactly how you want it. They're perfect for giving to your kids when they first leave home. How about getting started on Christmas stocking stuffers? Or for a "secret pal" gift? You could even make little heritage albums--have details about the people the recipes come from. Stories, pictures, the whole bit.
Have YOU done a scrapbooked recipe album? Do tell us about!
Can you believe it's been THIS long since I posted? Where does the time go? Why don't you guys get on me?
Anyway, for now I have a little video I made of an album that I made and donated to Algoma Manor for their silent auction. The video's kind of cheesy but hey I'm new at this. Sure hope you enjoy the mini though!
