....more pictures! That's right! The 12th is here tomorrow and that means 12 pictures on the 12th! I must remember this time as I nearly forgot last time. So far, I've got my pages scrapbooked so that means I've done four layouts in an album so far this year that will eventually end up with a full year of random days (well, not SO random...they are all on the 12th) of my life.
But, wait!
You didn't start in January? Doesn't matter. Start now. Your book can go May to April 2010. Or to whenever. Or neverending.
The 12th isn't a good day? Pick another day. It doesn't have to be the 12th. Do one picture on the 25th if you want or 10 on the 10th.
You keep forgetting? Doesn't matter. Do random days when you think of it. Just do one day a month. Just do a random page in your album.
You don't do anything exciting to take pictures of? Of course you do. It's YOUR life. Take pictures of the mail you got today. Your flowers you planted. What you made for supper--include the recipe if you want. The pop bottle you drank out of...The new wallpaper you just put up....(Don't you think it's hilarious to look at 50 year old photos of such things?)
Just remember--all you are doing is documenting your life. Sharing...possibly for future generations what your typical days were like...what you ate...what you did...how you looked...
Now...your homework is to tell me what or how you accomplish your own "12". Or just some ideas that have occurred to you on how people could document their everyday lives.
Come on, get sharing...it's Monday. You know you want to...
~Pauline
PS Don't forget to come see some of MY personal Novi (Great Lakes Mega Meet) purchases on Wednesday evening. (It's not meant to TEASE--just to show what I could ORDER for YOU! I may even have a few little goodies to put out for sale!)
Well I didn't start the album on the 12th in January, but maybe my baby will be born on the 12th in June. Perfect timing if you ask me, heading into a weekend. So maybe I'll start an album up on the day my baby is born. How neat would that be to look back every month to see how much it has grown.

Pauline;
I really enjoyed Spring Crop. The challenges were excellent - they brought me out of my staleness (Is there such a word?) Glad to see you are a supporter of Relay for Life. Our family are entering a team in the Soo in memory of our mom who passed away from Cancer 10 years ago. I have walked several times with the local Cancer Society. It is a very emotional and hopeful event. Good luck to you and your team and to your sister in her battle against this terrible disease!
