12 Hour Pizza Crop? Really? UnHuh!!!

Oh yeah....and it'll still only be 1 am when we're done since the time changes next Saturday night!

It's Over....

Can you believe it? CROPTOBERFEST is over. What a blast it was.

So much thanks to all of you who came, to those who brought goodies or did dishes or made coffee or just joined in the fun!

The lodge is booked for next year (October 17 & 18) and I apologize to those who do other things that weekend but it's the one that works out best for us.

There are still a ton of new supplies and I hope to get the shop back together Wednesday evening. No, it's not yet!) Regular scrapbooking will continue on Wednesday evening.

Pizza Crop has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 1 and will be a 12 hour event (still at the low cost of $10.00 which includes pizza!) but I need people to sign up or the event may be cancelled.

Don't forget the Iris Folding Christmas Card Class coming up Sunday, November 23. Cost is $15.00 and you MUST sign up as the instructor is preparing kits for this.

Butterfly, anyone?

I just came across a worthy cause that involves a bit of art. Anyone interested?

Here's the story:

In an effort to remember them, Holocaust Museum Houston is collecting
1.5 million handmade butterflies.

The butterflies will eventually comprise a breath-taking exhibition, currently scheduled for Spring 2012, for all to remember.

As of Summer 2008, they have already collected an estimated 400,000 butterflies but they still need more.

If anyone is interested in spearheading this activity--or could lead us in making beautiful butterflies---please contact me!

I have several sheets of these butterfly wing cardstock stickers. I wonder if I could do something with them? Any suggestions? Think about and let me know. And if you decide to make butterflies, let me know that too!

Now, go have a nice Thanksgiving--and TAKE PICTURES!

It's CROPTOBER!!!

Hey everyone:

It's almost CROPTOBERFEST time! Who IS excited?

I sure am.

It's coming sooooo fast and I have quite a bit to do....private emails have been sent to the attendees. If you didn't get one, let me know and I'll resend. I am missing a couple of email addresses so either tell your friends or let me know if you aren't getting the  CROPTOBERFEST emails.

Those who missed out on registering, do feel free to come and visit. The store will be set up for shopping and you are welcome to partake in that.

Yep, songs are just ringing through my head right now...."Pack up the bags and grab the---" oh no we don't want that one....."Let's go the crop, let's go to the crop"...that one's goood.

Got any tunes to sing about Croptoberfest to? Email me....I just may give a little goodie to my favourite!
